The Bluetooth headset may be about for years, but which one of the current crop is worth purchasing?

OK, To get the ‘flaking’ part of my response out of our way good and first, I’ve to say that it depends totally on what you want from the headset. There isn’t much point spending out on an all-singing, all-dancing super-headset if all you want is a basic model, but, by the same token, great excellence doesn’t come cheap in the planet of electronics.

Though, that’s not what you planned to hear, is it?

OK, so, listed below are some of our best Bluetooth headsets that I have looked at so far…

The Jawbone Era is one of the best mono gadgets that I’ve personally seen. Using state of the art audio comminications, the Era is a good sounding headset, but the inflated price tag could be a little bit off-putting for some potential people. To be honest (although please do not read ‘honest’ as ‘flaking out’), this is gonna be the pattern for most of these following examples, those that sound brilliant, cost more.

Considerably cheaper is a Plantronics M55, an excellent little worker and a bargain at lower than half the cost of that Era. Naturally, it is not as good as a aforementioned Jawbone model, but this device unquestionably won’t disappoint. Also from Plantronics may be the Marque 2 M165, a sleek, dependable little device that also offers great value for money.

If its stereo you are after, Mike, then the Jabra Clipper is a pleasant little doohickey, featuring an revolutionary design that will either impress or infuriate you, according to how you intend on using it. The Sony Stereo Bluetooth Headset can also be an excellent little runner and only costs about £30 (making it the cheapest one featured on this list).

As I primarily said, it is totally up to you what sort of headphones you desire, but I can say that the models listed here have been well reviewed by other tech websites online, additionally myself. Do a web search before you determine which ones to buy though, that way it is possible to ensure that you’re paying out for what you need.
